Tosoh Bioscience is a leading chromatography column manufacturer with a focus on bioseparation. In 1972 the first H-type polymer-based columns were introduced by Tosoh, followed by the well-known SW-type columns in 1977 and the PW-type columns in 1978.

Tosoh offers GPC instruments, Toyopearl and TSKgel chromatography media, and HPLC columns packed with TSKgel. The TSKgel columns are available in all types of liquid chromatography: ion exchange, affinity, ion, reversed phase or size exclusion (SEC) chromatography.
